Dealers' Den

SloFluffCon's convention marketplace, also known as the "Dealers' Den", is a space where artists and makers sell their prints, badges, plushies, crafts, fursuit parts, and take commissions.

Shop 'till you drop!
What you will find

A market run by the artists themselves.

The Dealers' Den is SloFluffCon's marketplace. Every table is run by an independent artist or small studio from the furry community, so what you buy here goes straight to the person(s) who made it.

Bring your con badge

Entry is for registered attendees wearing a visible badge. Staff check at the door.

Prints and originals

Illustrations, posters and original pieces straight from the people who drew them.

Badges and commissions

Many artists take badge and art commissions at the table. Make sure to ask about at-con pickup or shipping.

Plushies and crafts

Handmade plushies, jewellery, keychains, stickers, pins and other knickknacks.

Fursuit makers

Makers showing premade parts, tails and ears, and taking bookings for future commissions.

Books and zines

Comics, artbooks and zines by writers and artists from the community.

While you visit

Six things that make the Den better for everyone.

Dealers spend months preparing, these keep the space pleasant for everyone.

01

No photos or videos

Taking pictures or filming is not allowed anywhere in the Dealers’ Den, including of tables, artwork and people.

02

Look with your eyes first

Ask before you pick up originals, prints or plush. Some pieces are fragile or handmade.

03

Keep the aisles moving

Step to the side to chat or wait for a friend. This ensures we can manage the queue efficiently.

04

Mind your bags

Large backpacks can knock over displays, prefer to carry them in front of you.

05

No food or open drinks

Spilled drinks or food will ruin an artist's day, keep it outside.

06

Respect closing time

When staff announce closing, finish your final purchase and head out.

Buying

Paying, commissions and fursuits.

Paying
  • Each dealer chooses how they take payment. Most take card, some are cash only.
  • Bring some euros in small notes to be safe.
  • The nearest cash machine location will be posted with the venue map.
Commissions
  • Commission terms are set by each artist. Ask about price, deadline and delivery before you pay.
  • Pick-up times for same-con commissions are agreed with the artist.
Fursuits and tails
  • Fursuiting and wearing a tail are generally allowed.
  • When the Den is too busy, security at the door may ask you to come back later or de-suit first.
  • Handpaws and feetpaws are always fine; just keep in mind handpaws might need to come off when paying or grabbing items.

Questions

Things visitors ask.

Do I need a separate ticket?

No. Any valid SloFluffCon registration gets you in. Wear your badge where staff can see it.

Is there a place to leave my purchases?

Dealers may not always be able to hold items for long. Plan to carry what you buy or take it to your room.

I had a problem with a purchase. Who do I talk to?

Talk to the dealer first. If that does not solve it, Dealers’ Den staff at the door will help.
